sir thank you for your answer.but here it tells how to calculate atomic density with given fluence.but i want to calculate fluence and also how can i change fluence in SRIM
SRIM profiles are independent of fluence as the simulations do not include dynamic effects caused by the implanted ions (i.e. changing composition, sputtering, etc). The implanted ion concentration is plotted in normalised units and simply scales linearly with fluence.
I am doing proton irradiation. and i want to calculate vacancy density as a function of proton fluence. but in SRIM we can input only energy and angle of incident ion not the fluence of ion. so how can i calculate fluence and change fluence in SRIM in order to calculate corresponding vacancy density.here i am giving a link which can explain you my problem may b in better way. thanks in advance for your help.
SRIM reports concentrations in units of [cm^-3]/[cm^-2]. If you multiply these units by the experimental fluence in [ion.cm^-2] you recover the (ion, vacancy, etc) concentration for that fluence. As noted earlier, the concentrations scale with fluence so if you double the fluence the concentration will also double.
Qurat-ul-Ain Sahi, I am having the same problems what you had 4 years ago. If you have resolved that problem, could you please let me know how did you do it. Thanks
