I am interested in exploring practical and scalable models for integrating mental health services into primary healthcare, especially in low-resource settings like Nigeria. Given the challenges of limited mental health professionals, stigma, and underfunded health systems, what are the most reliable methods for evaluating the effectiveness of such integration? Specifically, what quantitative and qualitative indicators would best capture improvements in access, quality of care, and patient outcomes? I am particularly interested in frameworks that have been successfully applied in similar contexts.
