I respectfully disagree because conservatism has the moral roots of authority, in-group loyalty, purity, harm avoidance and reciprocity. Whereas liberalism emphasizes avoiding harm and reciprocating while abiding by the first three for sustainability. Hence social justice may be the negative utilitarian(suffering reductive) natural response conducive to an open society. Conservatism often includes complacency to authority. Therefor, conservatism leads more to totalitarianism than liberalism does. A longer debate would be good if you want the long answer.
