Sometimes we need Mode I tools; in other instances we need Mode II tools. Most management tools can affect continuous improvement (Mode I) or radical redesign (Mode II) of processes or organisations. Hence, LSS can play a role.

The Six sigma is a basic tool for project validation, project definition, throughput rate and opportunity calculation. For SMEs while COVID-19 pandemic, it can increase profitability, improve customer satisfaction, reduce cycle times, increase productivity, improve capacity and output, reduce overall defective rates, increase product reliability, and improve job processes.
Chung, what are all mentioned are true. But I feel the role of employees need to beredesigned.
