I use very less xmgrace sometime I need when I use linux (ubuntu) otherwise I use origin.
I was searching in xmgrace how to plot new data as x-axis and y axis I did not get like origin and other plotting software. For example I have data like
X(axis) Y (axis)
2 4
4 10
6 12
8 14
10 16
12 18
How does plot this data in xmgrace ? Can you tell me which option I have to go for plotting.
Thank you very much for the commandline way of producing the graph. This also works as a charm when I implemented in my bandgrabber code for automatically generating band-structure plots from VASP.
Thank you Bakary Ntji Diallo . Commandline given by you is very helpful in converting .xvg files to .jpeg or .png files. How can we improve the quality of the image so that it remains clear even upon zoom.
