As recently, we are changing our detectors (hunter of dark matter) by means of quantum technology , so what can this smallest scale of universe predict about largest scale of universe?
If we want to understand dark matter we have to explore dark matter. Have you or yuor team always prove resp. observe it? Until today our knowledge about dark matter is merely a result of theoretical considerations like the whole idea of dark matter is resulting from thoeretical conclusions.
Compare please with particle physics. It fuonds on the existence of quarks. Quarks are also merely results of theoretical considerations and they are never observed. All experiments were failures.
In case of quarks we can be sure: they do not exist. Two particles are sufficient and necessary to declare the world of particles. This particles are electron and positron.

In case of dark matter we can also be sure: It does not exist becaus it would require further particles. Our world consist of one type of matter and not a number of types linked on the theories in physics.

Calculation of cross-sections related to elementary particles uses quantum field theories. Moreover, dark matter particles are also allowed to interact with ordinary matter particles by some interaction which is allowed to be at-most as strong as the weak interaction.
@Biswajoy: If dark matter would exist it had been discovered before a great theoretician would have invent it. As you say: Dark matter would interact with normal matter and there is no reason that both of them would not blend with each other.
The reasoning is mystically that there exist somewhere in the depths of the universe an assumed material manner what caused the shape of the galaxies resp. the appearance of the universe 14E9 years after an assumed big bang. You can belive this like other peoples belive in God.
Matter is not an object of theoretical speculations. It is the object of work in physics.

Dark matter has been discovered-its particle content, simply, isn't known. If it has only gravitational interactions with ordinary matter it will be very difficult to discover the particles that make it up. If it has, in addition, other interactions, this will be possible, though difficult, still. That's what current searches are after.
Different forms of matter don't ``blend''-that doesn't mean anything.
We have to expect to the predictions of theory that matter and 'dark matter' are able to blend. There is no reason that this theoretical type of matter only exist within secluded spaces of the universe.
Dark matter is just as little observed as quarks and some other things which are necessary only in the world of theories and not in the real world.
Inventions like 'dark matter' prevent real insight. But theoretical physics could not allow to remove a sigle card in its chart room of theories.
