How can one solve SAXParseException error in SPSS Generalized Linear Mixed Model procedure?

I am trying to run a series of generalized linear mixed models (GLMM) with participants nested within schools nested within countries. My target variable is children's travel mode to school (binomial distribution with logit link). I am getting the following error message [org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x6) was found in the value of attribute "value" and element is "Value"].

I have successfully ran GLMM models with other datasets, but for some reason it does not work with the dataset that I need. Any help on how to solve this would be much appreciated!

I have found a way to circumvent the problem. I cut and paste my variables of interest into a new SPSS database and the analyses worked. This is not the most time-efficient solution though.
