As far as i know the test re -test assumes no change in time of the construct, but what happens when it changes?

Because if it is time of the day it changes a lot. Performance in the morning may differ substantially then the same activity in the evening or even early afternoon when many people experience same type of boredom at work etc. If you provide more details it would be easier to help

I´m exploring the satisfaction of relatives of intensive care unit patients which can be measured with various questionnaires ( FS ICU 24, CCFNI, CCFSS, etc.). However, it´s not know if this satisfaction varies over the time. For example, between day 4 of ICU stay and day 7. I want to apply a tool at those day and see there is a difference in levels of satisfaction of relatives. Moreover, if there is a difference it can be attributed to time.

It maybe some limitation then as for example, as if relatives spend more time in the system they are getting used and their perception is altered for good or worse...
