Please can you help me to write this equation on Matlab 2015a !. I have tried many types of writing but I could not get any result.

a= (-i*pi)^2*k*x/(r^2);
sum=sum+exp(a);
end
fx=(6/(pi^2))*sum;
This is a MATLAB function which you can save and use more conveniently.
This implementation would be much faster than using a for loop.
Note that N should be large enough to give you sufficient precision.
function y = f(x,K,r)
N = 1e4;
i = 0:N;
y = 6/pi^2 * sum(exp(-i.^2*pi^2*K*x/r^2));
end
