Doing research in HSI classification on SVM based classifier. I'm using standard data sets for classification. I want to validate the outcomes with other classifier. It's enough to compare with the existing works or need any specific? I'm confused in it. Advanced thanks for valuable comments.
You are required to compare outcomes with likelihood classifier of SVM for the same data as all classifier are not suitable for all types of data so now you can narrow the list of suitable/applicable classifier..
You can also provide ranking of classifier and provide the comparison with ideal ranking..
You can compare with the few improved version of SVM/RVM, also you can apply other kernel based classification method.
