you need to do some coding on the matlab for the implementation of KERNEL density estimator.

do some homework for the selection of the kernel also.

Matlab shall give you beautiful graphs.

Just look at my Parkinson's papers and Coronary artery disease papers.

In R you can do it by the function density(myVector)

and plot(density(myVector)) show the results.

Kernel estimators, need a bandwidth (adjusted on the model), and a kernel type (usually Gaussian or Epanechnikov).
