How to write a user defined fonction in dynamic mesh model in ANSYS Fluent Software in simulating wind turbine.

Hexahedron and tetrahedron are the suitable meshes for the nacelle and tower. The appropriate mesh for the rotor is tetrahedron due to the complexity of the shape.

If I were you, I would forget the Fluent and go for Starccm instead, using overset mesh. Much easier, much faster, much efficient.

What do you want to do? There are four approaches for simulating wind turbine:
1) using 6DOF and let the wind turn the turbine.
2) using the sliding mesh method and set the speed of rotation.
3) using the overset method and set the speed of rotation or let the wind turn the turbine.
4) using the dynamic mesh, which is the worst way Due to having heavy calculations.
The first one can be done without UDF, the second one needs UDF if you want to speed up the turbine gradually, and the third and fourth ones need UDF for rotational speed.
