I have a transient heat transfer problem by using WORKBENCH ANSYS and I would like to run it for 200 hours. In the details of “ Analysis Settings” AS ATTACHED, there are some items and definitions related to the time( those make me confused) such as : Number of steps, current step number, step end time, auto time stepping, Initial time step, Min time step, Max time step, ……etc.
Now my question is to run the problem for 200 hrs PROVIDED the FIRST hour is running at the smallest time step (0.0001 second) , while the end of the first hour to the sixth hour with time step (60 seconds), and the rest of the time at one half hour for each time step.
So how can I divide my problem to three different periods of time where each period has its own time step?
Any help will be really appreciated!

It's been quite some time, but I believe this can be accomplished by defining multiple Load Steps. Each load step can have different timestep settings. Link below might get you going in the right direction:

Thank you very much Nicholas!! Your attached file has been very useful, now i'm able to manage what I wanted for small periods as a simple test!
Firstly make sure that your computer does not go to sleep for 200 hours of run.
The link from Nic is extremely useful. Results from the run after individual time step, are initial value for subsequent time step.
Number of steps, current step number, step end time, auto time stepping, Initial time step, Min time step, Max time step, ……etc. : For first run, Min and Max time step can be specified as 0.00001 second and 0.0001 second, for the next run they can be 0.0001 second and 1 minute and for the last run 1 minute to 30 minutes.
Thanks Kumar for your reply. In fact I tried to place zero as Min or initial time step but it shows error message that the initial or Min time step value is invalid. Anyway, changing these steps little bit will give me the solution. Thanks again.
