I am interested for capacitance voltage measurement of p3ht film. I am depositing aluminium dots above the p3ht film. But when i am measuring the c-v characteristics, am not getting the data as described in the articles.So can anyone please help me in this regard ? i have no glove box, so i did it in the open environment. I have tried at different frequency but did not get the expected result. Please suggest me how to measure the c-v characteristics of P3HT film ?

I suspect you need an electrode on the other side of the P3HT film. At the moment, you seem to be measuring CV of Al/P3HT/glass, which to me would suggest you're also measuring the glass itself.
Yes, you should use two probe technique for CV applied for bulk or lateral!

Capacitance voltage measurements are made when you have some kind of junction, may be Schottky barrier or p- n junction, where barrier capacitance is effective. When we apply forward bias and vary the voltage then barrier capacitance changes. This is what we call C-V measurements. If contact of Al dots with your film is ohmic, you will not have barrier capacitance. C-V measurements then have no meaning.

The colleagues above have brought some interesting suggestions. I want to share in this thoughtful forum. i would like to propose that you measure the capacitance between two aluminum dots on the surface of the organic film. Before measuring the capacitance, measure the I-V characteristics of the structure. If it has rectifying contact then it will show conventional c-v behavior. If it has ohmic behavior then when measuring the capacitance then it will be the capacitance of the organic material between the two metallic electrodes. knowing the dimentions of the capacitance you can calculate the dielectric constant of film.
