do you want to caot TiO2 layer on MSN.
or do you want to decorate TiO2 NPs on MSN surface?
In your the case i will suggest you to minimize the time duration of TiO2 synthesis so that it will effect much on silica.
Second Make a sol of TiO2 and then mix with MSN.

I donot know exactly the way you want to prepare your sample. But, a suitable 'nitridation' of the condensed titania using ethylenediamine before calcination might be a simple method, especially for a post-grafting method. Plz check this reference out: Zhou, et al., Adv. Funct. Mater. 2011, 21, 1922–1930. Hope this works for you.
