Do you confirm that your .exe file is named as vina.split.exe?

There is no possibility that the file is named as vina_split.exe?

When I dowload the file from Vina site, it is named as vina_split, maybe it is the origin of the problem..

Then you can try the command:

vina_split.exe --input output.pdbqt

The download file is named vina_split. Can I change this name to vina_split.exe and run again?

If the file named already is vina_split, you don't need to rename to vina_split.exe because .exe is just the extension.

You can directly try the command:

vina_split.exe --input output.pdbqt

I think this is going to work for you.

I have already used vina_split.exe --input output.pdbqt. However, this command did not go to work and give me this error 'vina.split.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch.

the problem solved with me by follow these steps:

1. open cmd

2. write cd (and then copy docking folder path e.g (cd C:\Vina Docking))

((not cd / enter)).

3. dir /B > ligand .txt

4. perl Vina_windows.pl

5. write ligand.txt then press enter (the run will begin at this setp)

note: the configuration file should name conf. not config. the same as name as written in the Vina_windows.pl script
