I have read several papers that use a source with linear polarization and transfer it to the other side(of the polarizer or transmit-array) with the circular polarization, these papers use the rotation technique to compensate for the phase 0-360 degrees. I have simulated these papers but in the simulation software by rotating the second layer, different phases are not obtained(0-360 degrees). For this reason, I am confused and do not know the reason for the difference between the simulation results and the papers. Can you guide me on how can I simulate that, please?

Also, I have obtained the axial ratio in different ways and they are different from each other. For example, one method is through the radiation pattern and the other method is through the scattering parameters, which is obtained by activating the TE and TM fluqet mode. How can I check and simulate the Axial Ratio in simulation software?
