I called the umat subroutine of SANISAND when I was using ABAQUS/STANDARD. The object of the simulation is an undrained boundary value problem for a large diameter monopile. In the simulation we find that very large negative pore pressures are generated in the soil, (up to -6000kPa) which is clearly unrealistic.

So, I would like to set a cavitation limit for the pore fluid in the simulation, but after consulting the ABAQUS user manual I found that ABAQUS can only set a cavitation limit for explicit calculation procedures, and my simulation is in ABAQUS/STANARD. Can anyone provide me with any way to set the cavitation limit in the ABAQUS/STANDARD calculation?

Thank you in advance!
