for evaluation of antibacterial activity I can use colloidal solution.
So now question is that for catalytic reaction e.g degradation of dyes, In batch experiment use the colloidal solution of silver nano particles..such as 1ml, 2ml ???
Yes for TEM and FT-IR you require solid state samples - for FTIR you can disperse your colloid in KBr and make it as pellet and measure , for TEM do the same thing [ preferably sonicate and dilute the sample as much as possible and measure [ probably u can dry it using even hair dryer after dispersing the sample in TEM grid ] ............hope this helps
Dear sadia, you can glass coat the pellet and do Ftir, for Tem dilute the pellet and do. For catalytic expt you can check with colloidal Ag. Check some good reference before starting your work. Best wishes.
i synthesized silver nanoparticles from plants extracts did uv and TEM size and morpholohy is good now looking for powdered uv and xrd can any one guide me please
In my opinion you can try lyophilizer (freeze drying) to convert your liquid sample to solid/semi solid material (depending on your sample) for XRD analysis.
