I 'm woriking on Segmentation of Historical documents, so far i have identified the text lines in the historical documents using seam carving method and result image is attached, i wnat to extract or segment those identified lines, which is saperated by carved red line.
As long as you have already detected the segmentation lines/curves, you may apply binary masks to the original image. Every mask is one between two specific curves and zero otherwise.

Abdellatif Baba , Original Image (Attachment 1.jpg) and Binarized Image (Attachment 2.jpg), from original image i have detected the text line using seam carving method (Attachment 3.jpg), The problem is, i want to Segment those individual text line from Original Image and store them as separate image.
OK, I see now. look these red lines are detectable. Thus, you can label them. Later you scan your image column after column to extract those black pixels inserted between any two successive labels on the same column. All black pixels between two successive labels form a vector. All detected vectors between two specific lines make one sub-image or a segment.
Thus, you have to make your own code on Matlab.
If I had a time I would write it to you. I liked this idea. But unfortunately I'm so busy.
I agree with Abdellatif: label the regions between the red lines. The red lines should be really red, not contain any holes and run from the first column to the last column. You could then use the Matlab or Octave function: bwlabel().
