How can I search for ITS markers if no reference is available in research papers? Is browsing NCBI for related sequences a viable option?

I need to order primer sequences for my research on some specific medicinal plant species using the ITS marker. However, I couldn’t find any references for my plant in the literature. Could you please share any suggestions?

@ Koushik, Hello, there are so many methods to achieve that, you must not limit to ITS, kindly Google more on Allele specific PCR, it's a method u can use to design ur primers for target fungal species if you understand it. Wishing you all the best.
