It sounds like you're trying to do LR White embedding. Or maybe avoid agar embedding.

I'd agree with Mohamed. Centrifuge sample --> 30% EtOH --> Spin again --> 50%. Repeat higher and higher until you get to 100%.

If your sample is biological type,you should use ethanol gradient (30,50 75 95 and 100%) for removal of water.For material sciences sample,you may use direct 100% of ethanol for three changing.
