From chenopodium album seed, use of sulphur dioxide will be beneficial during extraction procedure. Besides these there are some commercial available food grade bleaching agents that can be used during extraction steps.
I suggest you to sequentially filter your seed extract through activated charcoal. It will selectively adsorb all the pigments such as chlorophyll and gives you clear, colorless extract. The filtered extract can be confirmed for the presence of starch by qualitative analysis using iodine test.
