TiO2 nanoparticles prepared by hydrolysis-polycondensation of Titanium oxysulfate (TiOSO4) and hydrothermally crystallized, often has residue sulphate ion as an impurity which is detrimental for photocatalytic activity of TiO2. Simple washing doesn't really help. Anyone with an idea as to how I can get rid of sulphate ions?
