Hello everyone,

I am working on electrospinning of Nafion, but I have not been successful for deposition of the mat on the grounded collector. At the beginning of the electrospinning process, the spun fibers were branched which prevented the other fibers reach to the collector. Therefore, they accumulate on each other and the final product was a 3D fluffy structure which was suspended between the collector and the needle. I examined the as-purchased solution (D2020) as well as a home-made solution by dissolving casted Nafion in propanol- water mixture, but I reach the similar result. I also checked the different concentration of PEO and PAA to improve the result, but the problem is persistent. Scanning the applied voltage and the flow rate did not help me too. Does anybody see the same trend? Is it possible to let me know how I can reach the 2D mat structure?

Thank you
