Not sure if I got your question right, but the list you state sounds like a placebo for a drug product. What is the active substance of this drug product? You could possibly use selective leaching to purify the compound of your interest. And then recrystallize it. Also the question is, how much of active substance is in the specific drug product. It might be a few percents of the composition.
Usually we are using re-crystalization after we confirm it by hplc to make sure we reduced undesirable things
