From 3D images stacks I have recovered some objects. Now I need to project those objects on 2D for further analysis. Any idea, any software, plugin, etc?
You can try to create a MIP (maximum intensity projection) in ImageJ
In the newest versions of Matlab, you already have an interactive Volume visualizer, so you can also define the viewing angle and transfer function.
As Oleksandra already suggested MIP is one option.
ou can use the models that have been developed for this purpose. this is depending on your requirement that Which parameter do you want to keep constant?: length, area or angle. many projected coordinate system is available and you can use every image processing software for that.
