I simulated 2D turning operation in Abaqus software. I used surface to surface interaction between tool and workpiece. But the problem is that deformed chip goes to the workpiece and does not slide on the surface of the workpiece, as it is seen in the attached image. How can i solve it?

Use general contact, including self-contact.
If this does not work for some reason, you can add an auxilliary rigid surface on top of the workpiece.
Please note that your mesh is much too coarse to give sensible results and your material separation looks very weird. Don't use this model for anything...
