We have syntehsized zeolites A and Y, and we need them in pellets format so that we can prepare columns for activities of undergraduate students. We have read that poly-vinylalcohol can be used as agglutinative compound, but how exactly can we prepare the pellets? Would that be possible by using alternative equipment/material?

You can use alumina and acid to form the pellets.
Methyl Cellulose can be added to improve the forming process.

One can prepare self supporting pellets using dye and pressurizing instruments. With KBr also pellets can be prepared by using above method.
