How can i prepare water based drilling mud at lab for testing API FILTER PRESS, VISCOSITY, GEL STRENGTH.? Materials and Quantities?

I need to prepare the drilling mud and prepared mud to be tested for API filter press, Viscosity, Gel strength? So how much of materials and how much amount of materials to be added for water based drilling mud in what way it should be added?
