i am unable get this reference regarding the above question if anybody have it please forward me.
Doneen LD (1964) Notes on water quality in agriculture. Davis: Water Science and
Engineering, University of California
Thank you in advance.
See if Figure 5 may possibly help
file:///C:/Users/Subhash/Downloads/Impact%20of%20recharge%20from%20a%20check%20dam%20on%20groundwater%20quality.pdf
thats the question how to plot my values in that plot to classify the groundwater samples in three classes.
Regarding your above question , you can refer to the following scientific paper :
Impact of recharge from a check dam on groundwater
quality and assessment of suitability for drinking
and irrigation purposes

Dear Shrikant,
First calculate your data according to this formula
PI = (Na + HCO3 )/ (Ca + Mg + Na) ×100
all concentrations are in meq l-1
Then plot the Doneen diagram on Grapher Software.
Thanks
Ashwani, i am little bit confused let me know which variables should i plot on X and Y axis.
plot with total ions (anions and cations) concentration in meq/l on y axis and PI on x axis.
Thanks Amit....
