May I recommend the following books, which will perhaps help to use the Schmidt net.
Borradaile, Graham J. (2003). Statistics of Earth science data. Berlin: Springer-Verlag. ISBN 3-540-43603-0.
Hobbs, Bruce E., Means, Winthrop D., and Williams, Paul F. (1976). An outline of structural geology. New York: John Wiley & Sons, Inc. ISBN 0-471-40156-0.
Ramsay, John G. (1967). Folding and fracturing of rocks. New York: McGraw-Hill.
Thanks for recommendation of the book which is well known to every Geologist. I have not found my answer to these book.If you can site me the page numbers of these book where my question's answer is given, please. Please be specific to answer my specific question.
If you mean the dip of a plane, it is plotted exactly the same way as in the Lambert-equal area net. If you want I can send you a copy of my structural geology lab manual which has step-by-step instruction how to plot 1) a plane with its strike and dip and 2) a line with its trend and plunge.
I see you copied the above answer by Ibraham into your identical thread of this question elsewhere. Although you claim to understand everything about plotting planar features... It is unclear which notion you struggle with in understanding how to represent a slope as a plane.
I copied because wrongly you are trying to convinced me that Slope and Dip is same according to you. Mr. Ibrahim is knowing the difference between Dip,Slope ,Planar, and linear structure and its plotting but you don't.
Yes, he was not answering me like you because Mr. Ibrahim realized that he has done something wrong. he is wise man but you are not Mr. Michels. still answering what you are not actually not knowing.
I also thank you and sincerely advice not to misguide others like me. Because I understand very well that without having knowledge you are trying to prove that you are one of the expert.
