Dear colleges,
I'm a dental graduate (BDS) and did my master's degree in public health (MPH) with two years of experience. I'm working as a Scientist-B in one of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) institutions, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
As a dentist, my area of interest has been tobacco related research, specifically, tobacco cessation. My other keen area of interest is oral health issues, which are very much neglected in the LMICs. Also, in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology, we are developing a non-invasive oral cancer screening device.
Currently I would like to apply for a doctoral degree in western universities (topic around tobacco cessation) and need help from you regarding how to approach for the same.
