I want to apply potentiostatic pulse electrodeposition by means of AUTOLAB PGSTAT 302N with Nova software. I would like to know that what is the correct way of doing this procedure?
the sequence of commands I have already tried is like this:
autolab control- apply 0 V- cell on- crono methods(two step including on and off potential)-cell off
Do you want to employ a single pulse or multiple pulses? What should the shape of the pulse be (classical rectangular?)? Enclosed below please find a few sample procedures for multi pulse.
PS: The procedures are NOVA1.11 (and work with earlier versions as well). If you have NOVA2.XX, you might need to tweak them a bit to import properly.

Thank you for your support. Can i have a question? what if i ignore "cell off" in the end of program "repeat"
Phượng Nguyễn : There should be no problem, but if there is no "cell off" command in the procedure anywhere, the cell will be left "on" after the measurement. I would not recommend it, since if you disconnect the cell physically from the electrode connectors while the cell is "on" and the potentiostat is applying a voltage (e.g. conditioning after the measurement), you run the risk of having your cell exposed to a voltage pulse (if reference is disconnected before working).
