Hi everybody,
I am deling with a cantilever composite beam having a PZT patch in ANSYS Workbench. First, I applied voltage to PZT patch (as actuator), obtained harmonic reponse as "mm/sV" at the tip and validated the results with the experimental ones. Now I am trying to do the opposite. That is to apply a uniform force and obtain the output voltage from the PZT (like harvester). I can not exhibit the output voltage in harmonic analysis. I used Mechanical APDL Command to do the post processing in APDL, as stated below. And I inserted these command in the harmonic respone tab. However, I receive errors in the solver. Do you have any experience for having voltage output at the PZT in ANSYS Workbench? By the way, I am not using MEMS or ACT extension. If you help me about this, I will really appreciate.
