There is no direct command inside OpenSEES for that. However, you can do it via TCL scripting.

An example is given below. You can add this Tcl code to your main code. It works properly.

• # obtain 10 eigenvalues using the default solver (-genBandArpack)
• set eigenvalues [eigen 10]
• # or, obtain 10 eigenvalues explicitly specifying the solver
• set eigenvalues [eigen -fullGenLapack 10]
• modalProperties -print -file "ModalReport.txt" -unorm

If it does not work, your OpenSees is probably an older version. Since "modalProperties" is a new command, you need the newest version (currently OpenSees 3.3.0).
