I want to perform an operational transfer path analysis and therefore I will need to measure both acceleration and sound pressure level (SPL).

My input matrix will then consist of acceleration data and SPL data. I've read several articles addressing this topic saying you need to normalize the data matrix first to avoid scaling errors in further calculations.

My question now is how do I perform this normalisation?
