Hi I am trying to model the material behaviour of polycarbonate.
It is shows elastic-viscoplastic behaviour. I have the stress strain data from tensile test.
I tried all the inbuilt constitutove laws available in Abaqus/Standard solver.
Is there a UMAT to model these material. If so can any one please share the UMAT or constitutive relations for this material.
The stress strain behaviour is shown in attached picture.

I think that your polymeric material may show some hyperelastic behavior in addition to viscoelastic performance. Abaqus have useful models for both performances just it is necessary to determine the related constants for materials. The Help of software is a unique reference to achieve these constants. There are some famous experiments which must be carried out for determining the viscoelastic constants of material.

Hi Azzeddine,
The Umat code looks good but it is representing only elastic part of the Stress strain curve. Need to extend for Viscoelastic with evolution laws.
