Can you develop more? What kind of bending are you refering to? Self-bending due to its own weight (and weight of the load) or a circumferential mode linked to rotation?

As mentioned by Prof Guillaume more clarity is  required, generally many tools are adopted for checking bending, one example for an particular individual application can be dial gauges adopted to check upon bending and alignment purposes.

if the bend is due to improper coupling, use a analogue/digital dial gauge.Initially to get idea , can use inclinometer based android apps installed in mobile(if flat sides provided)
