The contact pressure is measured by using F-socket specially for the contact pressure between the prosthesis and the stump. It is available at the P& O Eng. Dept. AL-Nahrain University .Accept my best regards.
Internal contact pressure is dependent on how it is transmitted. For example, the contact pressure can be determined as a function of heat transfer. If between the surfaces exist a liquid film, the contact pressure can be determined with help by the viscosity as function of temperature.
Another way of determining the contact pressure is over the piezo effect.
Thank you so much for you kind answer, I'd like to tell you sir, that I want to measure contact pressure between prosthetic socket and in-vivo human skin, or to detect maximum contact pressure, or get contact pressure distribution all over the whole internal surface of the socket. By specifying maximum contact pressure in which zone or specific area or zone, I will proposed a technique or local solution to avoid ulcer and infections at this point....Thanks alot again, Regards, Emad
The question is now more difficult, because man as a biological being is involved. I understand not much from infections, but one can together develop a solution.
For human skin is pressure sensors (general sensors) are well suited. Perhaps one can used a liquid, with infection-inflammatory effect, and which may be refilled, so that you then also could use this as an indicator. In any case it seems good to consult a scientist.

As you know the pressure sensors are commonly used in using the F- Socket , I recommend Dr Kadhim K Resan to address some information, He was en charge of calibration the F-scocket. Also, Dr Jumaa developed a contact pressure system, He may give some information. Best regards
