Hello, I am currently working on a project at the University of Stuttgart on the topic of numerical analysis of the unevenness of perforated Sheets during shear cutting. I used the simulation software DEFORM to simulate a round sheet (outside diameter 20 mm, inside diameter 8mm, thickness 2mm). Then I used the software Python to convert the mesh structure and the material properties for Ansys.
Now for my real problem. I have to draw a square sheet (thickness 2mm) in ANSYS and then import the geometry of the round sheet with the equivalent stress into the second geometry.
The question is, is it possible to mapping the mesh or stress from the simulated frist geometry to a second body with different size? I want analys unevenness of the sheet in relation of the holes.
