I have the square 5x5 geometry of the attached Figure.
I solve a pressure distribution problem where pressure changes its values along the x-axis.
I would like to know all the node coordinates where pressure is calculated as also the corresponding node ID.
How do I make this happen, is there any idea?
P.S. I combine the options Cut Line 2D and Line Integration and I use the expressions x-coordinate(x), y-coordinate(y). Unfortunately the derived values are not agreeable as they have [m^2] units instead of [m]

I chose to analyze my distribution problem with Four-noded rectangular element. Where can I find the interpolation function and FEM selection inside COMSOL interface?
I have done a plot of mesh distribution and attached the derived values in a txt file. Is this exactly what you suggest?

In the Discretization option, the Element order is Quadratic, and the Shape Function is the Lagrange. As it is written in the attached figure.
Yes, the element is quadratic (second order) because there’s a ‘midside’ node. (thanks to the software the work it seems to be simple but its not.)

- You told me "Pressure should be located at the computational node. If the mesh property should corresponds to the solved variables. I have not seen staggered grid arrangement is implemented in Comsol manual of the version I used. The info I have read on the net use Matlab to extract the Mesh data"
- I extracted Mesh data following this path: Data Sets > choose Mesh > Add Data to Export, and then I did extract these data without using the Matlab. Is my attached file the same as the Mesh data you suggest?
- If not, do you have the specific info where I can read about the way you are exporting the data?

- How can I give the mesh file at non dimensional time = 0. Do you mean to select the Stationary instead of the Time Dependent Study?
I attached my mph file (But I think that due to my later Version - 4.2 you are not able to open it). My problem is not a straight CFD problem but a PDE. (But my stuck is physics type independent anyway) - In addition I share you a simple tutorial doing the same thing wishing to bypass the Version barrier
