I want to determine the charge transfer resistance of Hydrogen evolution reaction.In doing so, I made EIS analysis. Please have a look at the attached Excell file and help me providing your valuable comments. This is the first time for me to do such analysis.

EIS spectrum analyser is a software i attach here.you can analyse your data.but at first you must change your excell file to notpad. I do it for you.and attach here.
You should improve your cell geometry and wiring. Anyway,
a) limit your frequency window to 10kHz-- 100 mHz range.
b)try fitting to 2RC model, hierarchical distribution. The charge transfer resistance corresponds to the time constant at higher frequencies
You may read a book on impedance analysis in electrochemical system. However, you may also go through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randles_circuit to understand the basic of electrochemical equivalent circuit and the following paper in your field: http://www.electrochemsci.org/papers/vol6/6010063.pdf.
It is not clear which electrode you used. To estimate the value you have to simulate your data using available software that should be given with your EIS measurement system. It is crucial to choose the circuit based on your working electrode and electrochemical reaction, indeed.

The analysisi of EIS is not simple at all, depends upon the electrochemical system under study. You mentioned that is about hydrogen evolution, in which surface is this taking place?, there are several points that you must consider for the analysis. Considering that in this case the hydrgen evolution is an activation controlled process, you can use a Randles equivalent electric circuit and make simultaion of your data with some commercial software to determine the value of Rct. However, the tada you showed seem to correspond to a depressed semicircle, which indicates a more complex response of the electrified interface during hydrogen evolution.
You should follow Samy´s suggestion for a first insigth into the topic.

EIS can shows RS and Rct value which very important parameter in HER.I have commercial software for EIS fitting if you want then please contact me
Hi, you can fit your data with Zveiw or Zsim sofwares and based on the CNLS method choose the best circuit (it will be randels circuit) and then you can determine the Rct.

All I have been using was the charge transfer resistance (Rct), and I have no idea about Rcp (Cathodic protection resistance?),
Any ways, your Rct is about 24.475Kohm as obtained from the software.This is almost equivalent to the value obtained by Origin (second page of the Word doc.). Attached!
