How can I induce hepatic damage in Wistar Albino rats by means of Methotrexate?

I tried to induce hepatic damage in Wistar Albino rats by using Methotrexate (IP injection) two doses each one 20mg/kg, Unfortunately it did not work, and the livers of the rats remained healthy.
