Iam new to icem cfd here and trying to improve my orthogonal quality of mesh. the picture below is the leading edge of the turbine blade that is connected to hub with sweep profile incorporated to it,can anyone give me suggestion to improve mesh quality,

Saeed Muhammad sir, I already have an O-grid at the blade and hub joining. i think the problem is due to the blade curvature at the leading edge that is joining the hub very flat. I did meshing for other profiles where they are not joining tangentially and i did not face any problem there. I also tried to change the no. of elements along that edge but quality did not improve. So can you please suggest me any other method to do it.

My suggestion is to try dividing the geometry into more blocks and then regenerate the mesh. Sometimes, in areas with high geometric curvature and fewer blocks, the mesh quality can deteriorate.
Yiyang Luo sir, thank you for your suggestion but I am still facing the issue of orthogonal quality(OQ). The OQ becomes much worse if I try to divide the block near to the hub, can you give me any other suggestion?
Goona PRAJWAL Swamy I haven't encountered this problem before, but if dividing the grid into blocks doesn't work, you can manually adjust parameters such as the grid growth rate and the size of the first layer grid. Additionally, you can try the automatic optimization functions in ICEM, such as Laplace optimization. I'm not sure if these will work, but you can give them a try.
