I want to prepare thin film of porous TiO2 nanotubes over ZnO nanotubes, using ZnO nanotubes itself as template.
So, you plan to fabricate your TiO2 nanotube array as some kind of extension of the ZnO nanotubes, if I understood you right. If possible at all, I could rather imagine physical methods (e.g. PVD, followed by anodization, hoping that the starting points of the etching process match the centers of the ZnO nanotubes). Sounds tricky, I can't wait to read the suggestions of other colleagues.
If you want to use ZnO nanotubes as template itself, you could try it with wet-chemical electroless deposition methods. By applying this method it is possible to coat arbitrary surfaces including nanotube surfaces.
