How can I get smooth sinusoidal output wave shape of grid current?

I am working on grid connected multilevel inverter topology. A voltage oriented controller is used for inner current control loop. The output from the controller is used as a reference of the pulse width modulation. I am getting the output grid current having lot of harmonics. Also, current of the controller is oscillating too high. Please see in the attached files.

Could anyone please let me know why I am not getting the smooth sine wave of output grid current?
