I read somewhere that Teacher stress inventory can be adopted, translated and used with proper citation. I would like to know where i can get proof of the above statement.
To gain permission to use the Teacher Stress Inventory (TSI), you typically need to contact the author or the publisher that holds the rights to the assessment. I am positive that the author would be more than happy to see TSI application in a different culture (see attached capture from Fimian, 1984, p. 291). You might check out the following for details.

To use the Teacher Stress Inventory (TSI), you need to obtain permission from the original developer, Dr. Michael J. Fimian, who is currently a professor of special education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. You can contact him by email at [email protected] or by phone at (413) 545-1566. You should explain the purpose and scope of your research, and how you intend to use the TSI. You should also acknowledge the source of the TSI in your publications, following the guidelines of Fimian (1984). The TSI is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring teacher stress, and has been adapted and used in different cultural contexts .
