We recently got a Jeol NMR spectrometer running on Delta.
We had to restart the spectrometer.
Everything seems to be fine however it is impossible to lock - the lock signal stays at 0 for a reference of ethylbenzene in CDCl3.
We tried to reload the shims but it did not change anything... Any idea how to find the lock signal on a Jeol Delta software? (changing the phase, the gain, the Z0 value does not seems to do much...).
Is there a way to lock manually directly on the NMR probe?

We also have a JEOL NMR. After restarting the spectrometer, you usually have to retune the probe by starting at the four initial values at the bottom of your magnet, assuming you have the autotune hardware. You can call the JEOL engineers. They are quite helpful.
you have retune the probes, you could ask the engineer to do it or else, use the manual you have with you. It will take only 5 minutes, if you call the company they can guide you over the phone
My comments is show something under.
1. The magnetic field has not fallen? And shimfile is set up correctry.
2. You set sawtooth mode and set lock level is 240 and range is 8.
3. If a signal dose not show, a service call is carried out.
4. If signal comes out, cursor will be united and bring the portion of a signal right in the midle.
5. A range is lowered to 4 and set right in the middle.
6. A lock level place to 200, and locks.
7. And you can autoshimings.
