I would like to know the processes which can be used to convert the waste present in the society or industries itself in form of power to be used by industry at its location.
I would also like to here any innovative idea that you might have to convert waste to energy in industry so as to reduce power requirement by the industry.
One of the best utilizations of organic waste is through the capture of the methane produced in the natural process of breakdown. The methane can then be used in a power plant to produce steam to turn turbines. Non-organic waste is definitely a challenge, and perhaps the answer is not directly in the waste itself, but in the potential uses of said waste which could then lead to power production. Not knowing the specific nature of the waste in question does limit the answer however.
